SPC wall panels are one of the most popular wall panel materials on the market today. As a leading brand in the SPC wall panel industry, Halead has received many requests from customers who want to use our SPC wall panels to complete their renovations or new space designs.

If you want a chic space, then there is no doubt that SPC wall panels are a suitable product for you

No matter how much I like this product, I must admit that SPC wall panels are not suitable for all places. What I want to say is that as a responsible brand, we hope that our customers have the right expectations for the product.

I will tell you where you should use our SPC wall panels, and maybe some inspirations you have never thought of. There are also some places you shouldn't use.

1. Waterproof SPC wall panels for shower rooms

People dream of having a bathroom and shower space where they don't have to spend a lot of time and energy cleaning dirty grout. The bathroom may be one of the most expensive and time-consuming spaces in your renovation. Of course, you don't want to make any mistakes. The bathroom needs to be both practical and beautiful, and durable.

When people look around, they may find many other alternatives, such as acrylic and PVC. To be honest, they are not what you think.

This is exactly where bathroom shower wall panels come into play. The high-end visual effect looks like marble, stone and wood, and comes in various shapes such as hexagon, subway, herringbone, etc. What's more, you can get all these stylish designs without having to endure the hassle of tiles!

2. SPC wall tiles for bathroom

If you have decided to use SPC wall panels in the shower area, why not extend its application to the entire bathroom? Halead SPC wall panels have mildew-proof and waterproof properties, which can easily create a whole look. There are large sizes and tile sizes to choose from.

3. SPC wall panels for kitchen backsplash

The kitchen is the soul of the room and is usually the embodiment of the entire space. And the laying of kitchen tiles, especially the laying of kitchen backsplash, is another headache. The kitchen backsplash should prevent water, grease and other dirt from damaging your walls. And because it is close to the heat behind the stove and sink, it should be heat-resistant, steam-resistant and fire-resistant.

If you want to solve all the above problems and have stylish and diverse design options, the easiest choice is Halead SPC wall panels. Because they do not require grouting, are 100% waterproof, easy to maintain and heat-resistant.

4. Indoor SPC wall panels for schools, educational institutions, nursing homes and hospitals

You need to create a safe place for children and the elderly. The walls need to be easy to clean because you don’t want to cry because you wipe off the children’s creative paintings on the wall; the walls need to be hygienic and healthy because the people you care about live there.

That’s why Halead SPC wall panels are a natural choice. SPC wall panels do not contain formaldehyde, heavy metals and phthalates, and are naturally healthy and hygienic; the surface is wiped clean and easy to maintain daily.

Scenarios and reasons why SPC wall panels are not recommended

1. Long-term high temperature or exposed areas (such as unshaded balconies)

Disadvantages: High temperature may cause the board to deform and fade, affecting the appearance and stability.

Alternatives: Choose high-temperature resistant aluminum-plastic panels or metal wall panels.

2. Walls that need to bear weight or frequently hang items

Disadvantages: Although SPC wall panels have high hardness (Shore hardness of 80), they have weak nail holding power, and long-term load-bearing may cause loosening or cracking.

Alternatives: Choose solid wood wall panels or reinforced gypsum boards.

3. Walls with extremely poor flatness

Disadvantages: SPC wall panels have high requirements for the flatness of the base layer (the error must be ≤3mm), otherwise it is easy to have hollows or uneven joints, shortening the service life.

Solution: The wall needs to be leveled before construction, which indirectly increases the cost.

4. Decorations that require complex curved shapes (such as curved ceilings)

Disadvantages: SPC materials are relatively hard and have poor plasticity. Forced bending may cause the board to break or the interface to be unsightly.

Alternatives: Use more flexible PVC wall panels or gypsum lines.

SPC wall panels have been very popular in home and commercial decoration due to their environmental protection, waterproof and easy installation, but their limitations need to be weighed according to specific scenarios. Reasonable planning of the scope of use can maximize their performance advantages and avoid later maintenance problems caused by environmental or functional mismatch.
