WPC click flooring, an environmental pioneer, is conquering countless families with its real wood-like appearance and super functionality. It is aesthetically pleasing and also waterproof and insect-resistant, making it simply perfect for home decorating. Now, let's devote ourselves to this exciting installation process with passion!

Light up the passion: Preliminary preparation

Before this home decoration feast begins, we have to do some small preparations:

-Measurement Master: First, turn into a measuring guru and make precise calculations about the space where the flooring will be laid. Don't forget to include those corners and doorways, and leave some "safety margins" in case of accidents.

-Tool Assembly: Next, it's time to call our tool friends. From tape measures to cutters, from rubber hammers to levels, plus those professional floor installation helpers, each one is crucial.

-Ground Transformation Show: Finally, make sure our stage - that is, the ground - is dry, flat, and spotless. If the floor is not perfect, then self-leveling cement is our savior. For those with historic plinths, a moisture barrier is the key to ensuring the floor lasts forever.

With these prepared, we are one step closer to successfully laying beautiful, practical, and environmentally friendly WPC click flooring. Let's work together to make every corner of the home glow with new vitality!

Steps to install WPC click flooring

-Laying the damp-proof mat: On the clean, smooth floor you are preparing to lay, first lay a layer of the damp-proof mat to block the moisture from the floor, making sure that the mat is evenly spread out and that the joints are sealed tightly with waterproof tape.

-Select a starting point: Pick a corner of the room as a starting point, usually the top left corner, and place the flooring along the wall, remembering to maintain a gap of approximately 10-12mm to allow room for the floor to expand and contract, and secure this space with spacer wedges.

-Install the first row of floors: Pick up the first floor, place it at the starting point you chose, and gently tap it with a pull rod or rubber hammer until it is close to the wall. Next, snap the short side of the second floorboard into the notch of the first floorboard and tap it again to make sure it fits tightly. Repeat this step until the entire first row of floors is laid.

-Finish the remaining floors: Starting with the second row, the long and short edges of each piece of flooring need to be spliced precisely. Insert the long side of the first floorboard of the second row into the notch of the previous row and tap it gently to connect it. After that, insert the short and long sides of the second floorboard of the second row into the corresponding notches at the same time and tap it to ensure a tight connection. Continue row by row in this way until the entire room is covered.

-Adjust the last floorboard: The last row of floors usually needs to be cut to fit the space. After measuring the size, use a saw or cutter to cut it accurately. The cut section is then inserted into the groove and held firmly in place with a drawbar and rubber mallet.

-Install the skirting: Once you have ensured that the laying is complete, it is time to add the skirting. This not only covers the seams but also adds beauty. Fix it tightly to the wall with nails or glue.

Notes:

1. Environmental adaptation: 48 hours before installation, place the new floor in the installation environment to help it adapt to the temperature and humidity and avoid deformation problems later.

2. Floor flatness: Make sure the floor is completely flat, which is crucial to prevent instability, warping, or cracking after the floor is installed.

3. Reserve expansion joints: Although the thermal expansion and contraction of WPC flooring is less than that of solid wood, it is still necessary to leave appropriate gaps to cope with temperature and humidity changes to prevent the floor from bulging or warping.

4. Avoid dragging heavy objects: Once you have laid your WPC click flooring, be careful not to drag heavy objects on it. Imagine those heavy objects leaving marks on the floor like knives, which not only affects the look of the floor but may also shorten your stay on the floor.

Care and care

- Regular cleaning: Use a vacuum cleaner or a soft broom to gently sweep away dust and sand particles to keep the floor clean and neat. Occasionally wipe with a damp cloth, but remember that water is not the friend of the floor!

- Prevent scars: Put small shoes (protective pads) on the feet of the furniture to prevent the furniture from "skating" on the floor and leaving scratches.

- Moisture-proof is the key: Although our floor is not afraid of water, a long "bath" will also make it uncomfortable. Therefore, if you encounter water accumulation, you must "wipe it dry" in time.

- Regular "physical examination": Check the joints and corners of the floor frequently to ensure that they are firm and not loose. If you find small problems, solve them in time to keep the floor healthy and long-lived.
